Week 8, 15/11/2023 Before starting to create sketches for my own design, I researched and found some exam ples of sans-serif fonts as a reference, which helped give me an initial image of what my own font would look like since I specifically also wanted it to go in the sans-serif category. Figure 2.2 'Lack' font. Week 8, 15/11/2023 Within the examples, what really caught my eye is the design for the font called 'Lack'. One-Point Perspective - three-dimensional image emerging from a single point on the horizon. Two-Point Perspective - Vanishing points on either side of the horizon, objects within the scene are drawn to both of these vanishing points. Week 6, 08/11/2023 Print: ensure that the text is smooth, flowing and pleasant to read for the viewers. Common typefaces are: Caslon, Garamond and Baskerville (elegant, intellectual and highly readable in small size). Screen: Modified to ensure readability and performance onscreen in any digital environment (includes taller x-height, wider letterforms, more open counters, heavier thin strokes, reduced stroke contrast, more open spacing). 16-pixel size on a screen is about the same size as text printed out in a book or magazine.
