Initial Ideas

For the proposal, we were required to create a thematic website that is interactive for a specific topic of our choice. I eventually came up with several ideas:
  • Jewelry brand (OHTNYC)

  • Accessory brand (Gentle Monster)

  • Fashion brand (Balenciaga)

  • Music band (aespa)

  • Museum (teamlab tokyo)

  • Makeup (girlcult)
I eventually chose TeamLab as my topic, an interactive digital museum specifically located in Tokyo. The museum itself includes a lot of different exhibitions however I will be focusing mostly on their planet exhibition. For the website itself, my goal was to create a minimalist yet futuristic design that could support TeamLab's image.

REFLECTION

Getting into advanced interactive design, I had to think of themes that I was interested in so that I can enjoy the module. This task had given me the freedom to choose both concepts and design which was exciting but also a struggle for me, it was challenging to come up with different ideas and having to only choose one to go with. With the lecturer's consultation however, we were able to immediately choose one and I eventually was able to start creating my wireframe. I am aware that this is still my first draft and I'm looking to further improve my design and layout within the upcoming projects.
