INSTRUCTIONS
Final Project [Infographic Video Animation]
Ideation and Proposal
Since the final project will be groupwork, the students divided themselves into groups and started listing out ideas. Since we had a physical class, we discussed it directly and came up with our final concept to tackle: stereotype against Gen Z in workplaces.
To present our idea, we started working on the slides for our flip presentation and gain feedback from the lecturers. We had to finalize our idea as fast as possible since we were the second group in line. To finish our slides, we had task divisions, where I was responsible for researching data collection & key information.

Design process
After our presentation and receiving feedbacks, we once again started another task division where we each had our own contribution in the creation process. We started a meeting and discussed it in a miro board where we set our tasks and timeline to get on track.

I was a part of the preproduction team, before I start I had to wait for the script and divided my workload with a groupmate. With the help of art direction, I started creating my first sketch for the storyboard.

Since I had the second half of the part, I wanted to make it rough so that I could make the artstyle consistent with my groupmate's. I made sure to input the timeframe, transitions, effects while maintaining minimal scenes to make the animation process efficient. After my first attempt, I remade my storyboard so that it can reflect on the final product accurately.
Since I already had a good idea of the scenes, I remade the storyboards by setting the opacity low and tracing it in the new artstyle, additionally I shaded the scenes to make it more understandable yet eye catching.

After the storyboard, illustration assets were created using Adobe Illustrator. These were saved as vectors with layers maintained to ensure that seamless animation can be done.

After the assets were created, the files were passed onto the animators, where tweening and puppet tools were involved using Adobe After Effects. Lastly the editors were responsible for compiling the scenes together along with the voice overs and sound effects.

FEEDBACK
Week 2/3
Specific Feedbacks
The concept is good and interesting, along with the presentation itself. However make sure that the target audience can be narrowed down further since there is too much at the moment. Make sure it is not too broad and make it more specific.
Week 6
General Feedbacks
Though the storyboard is a sketch initially for the scenes, make sure that it is able to reflect on the end outcome as accurately as possible. If more than one people is working on the storyboarding, make sure the artstyle and the scenes can be made consistently.
REFLECTION
Experience
During my experience, being in a group with good task division and a set timeline was rather efficient. With the fun concept and idea, the video was mostly lighthearted and funny, which contributed to a good experience in completing this project. I was very much satisfied with the end product.
Observations
I enjoyed observing how me and my groupmates filled in positions that we were definitely confident in our skillsets in. As we were a group from different design specializations, there being UI/UX, graphic, entertainment and such, I saw how everyone had different talents and it honestly amazed me. I knew our workloads were different but especially seeing how the animators worked was really nice, it motivated me to push myself into learning different things, I'm taking this as a sign to learn how to use Blender even if I'm taking UI/UX.
Findings
I've found how important it is to create storyboards actually. Though they were simple sketches to me, I knew they were important in giving an idea to the end product and were most definitely useful for the animators in the group.
