22/4/2024 -  / Week 1 -  Cindy Clarissa Leslie / 0367677 Video & Sound Production / Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Exercises INSTRUCTIONS Week 1: Exercise 1 [Doritos Ad] Mints First, to familiarize ourselves with Adobe Premiere Pro, we were given the task to combine clips of an ad to form a proper commercial.  Figure 1.1 Process of combining the clips in Premiere Pro We started of with mints, where the clips were already set in order. Following the instructions that the lecturer gave, I dragged each clips from the folder provided into the sequences in the right order and proceeded to export it into a H264 file. Not only the concept itself is interesting, I found it amazing how the objects are able to transition smoothly from one to another and make it look edible. This stop motion has high fps and consistency that requires a lot of effort, which leaves the audience in awe and feel some sort of satisfaction at how polished the production is. 9/5/2024 - 6/6/2024 / Week 3 - Week 7 Cindy Clarissa Leslie / 0367677 Video & Sound Production / Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Project 2: Shooting Practice and Editing INSTRUCTIONS Project 2A: Production Shoot Planning In this project, we were divided into groups and each of us were assigned a role in the production of remaking 'Everything Everywhere All At Once". For the filming part, I was given the role of camera assistant. Figure 1.1 Shooting schedule. Before starting, I created a schedule that the group can follow, where the order of filming the scenes have been decided early on to make the process as effective as possible. Figure 1.2 Shooting scenes in studio. As the camera assistant, my job was to position the camera so that I can accurately depict and follow the shots in the movie itself. We were first provided with the clip with no sound and script for the dialogues itself, all the sound effects, ambience and the character's dialogue will all depend on what we personally think would fit.  Figure 1.1 Planning in sheets before starting Before starting the audio dubbing, we were split onto groups to work on the sheets to separate each scenes. We then put in a detailed explanation for the actions in each scene and write down the possible sound effects that would be heard. The higher the usability a design has, the better it is able to guide users into their goal of the usage.
